মোবাইলে বা কম্পিউটারে ইন্টারনেট চালু করতে হলে মোবাইল কোম্পানী থেকে নির্দিষ্ট একটি প্রোফাইল এসএমএস এর
মাধ্যমে নিয়ে আসলেই হলো। কিন্তু সব ধরণের বা মডেলের সেটিংস মোবাইল অপারেটরদের কাছে থাকে না ফলে ম্যানুয়ালি করে নিতে হয়। তার জন্য কিছু কনফিগারেশন জানা থাকা প্রয়োজন। নিচে এগুলো দেয়া হলো:Set up GPRS/WAP
For Mobile Handset & Computer
1) Go to Menu>Services>Data Account>GPRS
2) Select 1 and press Edit
3) Select Account Name and press Edit
Clear any existing word and write:
GPWAP (For Grameen Phone connection)
AKTELWAP (For Aktel Connection)
BLWAP (For Banglalink connection)
Airtel (For Airtel Connection)
TTWAP (For Teletalk connection)
5) Select Option>Done
6) Select APN and press Edit
Clear any existing name and write:
For Mobile type wap & for computer type internet
gpwap or gpinternet (for Grameen Phone connection)
wap or internet (for Aktel connection)
blwap blinternet (For Banglalink connection)
wap or internet (For AIrtel connection)
wap or internet (For Teletalk connection)
7) Select Option>Done
8) No User Name or Password is required. So keep these spaces blank.
9) In Auth. Type select Normal
10) Press Done and press Yes
11) Press Back twice
12) Select WAP>Settings>Edit Profile
13) Select any profile and press Ok
14) Select Edit Profile
15) Select Rename Profile and press Edit
Clear any existing word and write:
GPWAP (For Grameen Phone connection)
AKTELWAP (For Aktel Connection)
BLWAP (For Banglalink connection)
Airtel (For Warid Connection)
TTWAP (For Teletalk connection)
16) Select Option>Done
17) Select Homepage>Edit and write the address of your desired website. For example, http://www.yahoo.com
18) Select Option>Done
19) Select Data Account>Select>GPRS
20) Select the account that you just created in steps 1 to 10 and press Ok
21) Select Connection Type>Select>HTTP>Ok
22) In Proxy Address put the following values:
010.128.001.002 (For Grameen Phone connection)
192.168.023.007 (For Aktel Connection)
010.010.055.034 (For Banglalink connection)
010.006.000.002 (For Airtel Connection)
192.168.145.101 (For Teletalk connection)
23) In Proxy Port put the following values:
8080 or 9201 (For Grameen Phone connection)
8080 or 9201 (For Aktel Connection)
8799 or 9201 (For Banglalink connection)
8080 or 9200 (For Warid Connection)
8080 or 9201 (For Teletalk connection)
24) Press Ok
25) No User Name or Password is required. So, keep these spaces blank.
26) Press Done
27) Press Yes
28) Select Activate Profile and press Ok
29) Press Yes.
